Ponzi was a midfielder for Juventus, I think.

Actually, Ponzi's old offices are at 10 Post Office Square in Boston. My first job after college was at One Post Office Square.
We should change it to a Madoff Scheme.

MLS just suspended the season for at least 30 days. Games to be made up at the end of the season.

Didn’t see this live but somehow the technology failed them. An obvious goal.

Been a long wait for Leeds United.

I remember how they dropped so far so fast. Did they get money from new ownership? Sounds like a multi year build.

Brenden Aaronson looks like he will be quite the player for USA.

PSG, Man City?  But there's the issue of his buyout clause - if he can't get out of that, it's a transfer fee even those clubs probably can't afford.  If he can, he's a free agent and he can literally go anywhere he wants, but you're still looking at those two at the top of the list because of the wages.

Boca Juniors.

If he wants to go home and evade taxes instead of doing so in Spain, sure.  It's unclear how much he desires that.  Supposedly he wants to win the Champions League.  But that seems silly considering that he's already done that three times (and scored twice in the finals).  I find the whole thing off-putting - if FCB, PSG, and Man City were all to end up on a boat that mysteriously sank 800 miles from land, the soccer world might be better off.

Sounds like legal battles are brewing. I am not a lawyer but based on limited reading his free agent clause expired in June each year. But since the club was still playing its 2019-20 season in August I would think a court would think it reasonable to extend it. IMHO.

Looks like Messi is stuck playing for Barça against his will. Sort of like he is for Argentina.
