Lookin' out the front door in E. Loudoun.    The moon is out but to the south is this humongous cloud formation with lightning in it.    Lookin' at WTOP appears to be a small cell W to E right over the Park.

Get this crap done and bail me out. I'm in the middle of my sister's B-Day party so I don't have to listen to these morons. We have the TV on mute. :whip:

I had to mute them in the 1st inning.  Been listening to a John Hurt album I picked up a few weeks ago and hadn't played yet.

Alex Rodriguez had a spot-on analysis of Harper's at-bat. He pointed out that Harper was holding his breath when he swung, that he was gripping the bat as tight as he could, which could affect the angle of the bat, and he was just not relaxed - trying to hit a home run or nothing.

Someone should show the clip to Harper. Someone get Harper an old book, The Inner Game of Tennis, which discussed exactly the same thing. Play relaxed and loose. Don't tighten your muscles. Olympic athletes playing over their head to win medals are good examples of people who succeed at this.

Same thing with golf. Hold the club like it's a bird.

It was other people's kids (g-nephew and his gang).  :)     We got outside and the missus sez, "Listen."    I gave her that bewildered husband look and she sez, "It's quiet."

Some good signs--Murphy starting to hit; Rendon continuing his hot hitting; Turner looks good at the plate; Soto continues to amaze.

and someone told lil dave to start Michael A. Taylor, now that he short-circuited MAT's hitting streak.

The worst pizza I ever ate in my life was at a Chuck E. Cheese purchased birthday party.  They're trying to get guests to schedule more parties with that horrific crap?

This Chuck was very aware of who wanted to be touched/interact and who didn't.    They must have had some trainin' since way back when.

Would take my daughter there to chill on a lazy Sunday. We both miss it.
