But the NL has more significantly wins than losses with AL teams this year
True--but that just shows the AL has more crap teams--the BLOS, the whole central division, Tamps.  The teams at the top seem stronger to me.

Fifth highest regular season attendance in Nats Park history:

45,274   Monday 1st April 2013 vs Marlins [season/home opener]
44,685   Saturday 20th August 2011 vs Phillies
42,834   Friday 4th April 2014 vs Braves [home opener]
42,744   Monday 3rd April 2017 vs Marlins [home opener]
42,723   Monday 18th June 2018 vs NY Yankees

[16th highest if post-season is included]

Let’s all hope that the Nats get their act together and there’s a rematch in October.

Honestly when the Nats go to the World Series, the Yankees are just about the last team I'd want to be hosting, because Yankees fans are everywhere, including in this area, and I want to enjoy the first Nats Park World Series as an ocean of rabid Nats fans, not half Nats fans and half Yankees fans.

Nats-Astros or Nats-Mariners this October would be absolutely fine by me.

We'll be getting more than just a preview of that in the upcoming Fourth of July series against the Red Sox (which league-office meathead thought of that?) with at least 70% 'Red Sox Nation' in the stands.

If the Nationals ever make a World Series, the opponent's fans won't even make the list of things I'll be concerned about...

Hopefully by getting there, many of Vark's concerns will have been resolved

Doubtful...I'll be worried about the lines for the men's room, and if they'll run out of hot dogs...

Mods need to clear original GDT post for this game or we may end up with 163 regular season games...
