So what's the verdict on Morse announcing so far. Seems ok to me but I've only watched a couple of innings or so.

awful but he's debuting at the major league level (which is unfair to him and to the listeners)

What spider said and he's not as "bad" with Carp as he was in the studio.

It's because of how well liked he is in the organization that he's getting this shot but he's not qualified to be in a major league booth right now.

He can go "off script" and tell stories in the booth.    The studio is structured and that isn't him  ....  at all.

He really needs a coach to work with him on his diction and his grammar really needs to improve. He seems enthusiastic about the role so I hope he gets better and has a bit of a career at it.
