The scrap heat is cheap. But guys on it don't always work out. That's why it's called the scrap heap. Again, if teams are contending they will keep good relievers. The others want younger guys. No one wants Reynolds. Goodwin is a maybe fourth or fifth outfielder. They will have to give up guys in the minors.
