The pitch that was low ?  It was awful, as shown by the pitch trak after the call

Can we talk about that first strike on MAT’s at bat? It was absolutely awful.

Yeah, I mentioned it right before the walk off.

They really need to figure out some kind of quick challenge late in the game for egregiously bad strike calls where it is either a ball outside the zone and called a strike or completely in the zone and called a ball.  Basically pitch track with a ball sized border where the pitch stands as called, but there needs to be a way to correct the clearly blown calls.  It takes away from rewarding the talent of the athletes when you blow calls like that.

If he keeps hitting like that I'll use whatever honorary title he'd like. He crushed that thing.

Maybe it's in the thread somewhere, but I like to go back and watch both broadcasts for big moments in games and on MAT's throw to end the 6th, the San Diego broadcast had such a clear view of it there was never any question as to the outcome of the replay. The MASN broadcast never had anything close to it. Maybe someday we'll have a major league broadcast for this team...

Good eye.    Looking back he may be in Romania.

I have actually been to Estonia twice (headed there again in July) and will be going to Romania this coming Tuesday. Two out of three!
