"Blather blather blather" says FP. Without FP telling us, we would "These are the kind of games that it doesn't matter if the Nats lose".

How do we persuade FP to stop talking as if the audience has never watched baseball??

This is the exact situation these three bullpen arms were brought in for.

He was at 54 pitches. I can’t fault Martinez for leaving him in.

I would have done the same.  Sooner or later he'll get through the 6th.

The problem with Hellickson could be hitters seeing him the third time around.

That seems to be the case so far...

Dear Diety above or whatever  you are......why do all the teams the Nats play get clutch hits with RISP but the Nats do not?

Because the Nats aren’t clutch?

Not on pitching. Every team hopes to give up only 3 runs over 9 innings. Offense has to do more.

How much longer before Rendon, Murphy and Eaton are back?  Is the team being transparent about them?  What's going on?  Why don't they just tell us if they all need season-ending surgery.

Swept by the D-backs.  I think it's pretty safe to call the season at this point.  Just too much of a hole to make up, you can book it Danos, it's over.

What difference does it make if you know? It won't make them come back any sooner.
