OC pretty much nailed it.    Even with the hot start, the Bucs are regressing to norm.      I think a lot of the fans in that area are fearing another  McClatchy type run.    The folks in Pittsburgh remember the 20 years of below .500 baseball.

What many franchises have failed to realise is that, even in the midst of a full-on rebuild, you have to give the local fandom some reason to keep coming out to the matches. Look at the Atlanta Braves of recent years, churning their roster at a practically unprecedented rate and yet they never entertained any offers for Freddie Freeman - because he's one player that the people might pay to see. The Pirates, on the other hand, never saw things this way, stripped their roster, and are now paying for it at the gate.
