That was a horrible decision...especially with Eaton...

Davey says he likes Zimm hitting cleanup...  :smh:

welch suggests we call him "Dave" until he earns the "y".    I'm in.

It's Sendley's fault.

I was screaming at the TV when he sent Eaton. Why in the world, on a chilly day, in that situation, do you send a guy who is just coming off a one year rehab from a knee injury?

Zim is a zero in clean up....looks like 2016....swinging wildly, watching better pitches, curling lower lip...staring at the scoreboard after whiffing...(not sure what staring at the scoreboard produces)...
Way too many whiffs or watching close pitches....these guys never seem to learn...

Eaton said he thinks he's fine, so he'll be out for the year.

X-Rays negative on Eaton’s ankle. So that’s good news.
I disagree with everyone here. If he’s healthy enough to play, then you need to be sending him in those situations.
If you are that worried about him that you need to have special rules for when to send him, he ought to be sitting, period.

Exactly

Ya tell Bob, "Look Bob.    Adam just came off a bad injury.   He's probably still in recovery.    It's April."

Love when the team tells us early in the season they're gonna be total turds. Now I know what to expect.

 omg what a bunch of drama queens we have here.

Anything close to a good throw and even The Freeze was gonna be out.  Should not have sent anyone, much less Adam...

Eaton claims he is fine, says it was probably scar tissue breaking loose but he says he feels ok now.

He’ll be back on the dL before he can do too much damage

I tell folks I don't mind bein' born in the 20th century.    It's the "first half of the 20th century" that hurts.  :)

Eaton said some scar tissue moved around and was hitting a nerve. Strength is all good. Said trainers told him it’s a day or two thing, not a DL thing, and fortunately they have a day or two.

Given the team's propensity to conceal the truth, it is more likely that Eaton broke both legs than just have stretched some scar tissue.....

I delayed my trip out west to make it to this game. Had to change my ticket and all. This sorry excuse for a game cost me 5 hours and dinner in San Francisco.

You put more effort seeing this game than 4 thru 9 in the lineup playing in this game. Sorry that sucks for sure

bummer.  If you are flying united, the Chinese restaurant in the food court in the United wing of Terminal 3 is fantastic.

Bases loaded, no outs... nobody scores.
 :turrible:
Both Atlanta and the Mets won 2 out of 3 in the last series of 2017.

Run expectancy tables show an average of 2.3 runs scored in that situation. Nats score zero. Awesome.
