I like having decent defense at 2nd and assume that Murphy will be even slower when he comes back. I'd be ok with a Zimmerman/Murphy platoon based on health/pitching/whoever's hot with Murphy only occasionally playing 2nd.

GTFO with that crap. When Murphy is back, he needs all the ABs he can get.

$10MM total for Kintzler, $17MM if we pick up Doolittle's options and I believe Madson is $5MM.
