He's just being reliable...reminding us that the game continues, etc

Is Max's fastball running really high above the zone or is that just PitchTrak distorting things? On a couple of them it looks like he lost his grip or release point.

Yeah when he misses it's going up and away. It's not like wild pitch territory though.

Zuckerman's great analysis from a couple days ago http://www.masnsports.com/nationals-pastime/2018/03/why-turner-is-batting-sixth-in-todays-finale.html
just a guess - he likes having his 3 best hitters hit 2-3-4, and Eaton is a good lead off hitter thru his career.  My guess is that eaton and turner two flip flop between 1 and 6, depending on the handedness of the starter.  I'll also guess he feels more comfortable turning a base runner loos when he's not in front of Harper and Rendon.  If RZ can't hit well enough to be  a cleanup hitter, then I think you may see Eaton and Turner at the top of the order.

Given the number of K's he has already, I ain't going to stress one bit.

Until Turner can prove he can hit lefties consistently, I hope not.

We just got a lucky break with that ball call.

Zimmermann and Desmond rejecting their extension offers is the best thing that ever happened to the Nats
