Small explosion and fire at Citi field!   Reports are that it happened in a display case.  Video below:

Yes.

Best comment so far: "Even the Mets clubhouse is on the DL".

The prime suspect has to be Matt Harvey.

Fouled himself in the face. Like, straight back somehow, not one that hit the plate and bounced.

The Mets are a joke. They'd finish last if not for the dumpster fire that is the Marlins.

I'm a lurker, but if the Mets ever turn around that bullpen they are formidable. Maybe not for the division, but certainly a Wild Card spot.

Their bullpen has blown 13 games in which they led by more than 3 runs after the 7th inning. 13 GAMES! Let that sink in. I doubt they turn it around, but they are contenders if they do. Even since their injuries, I'm surprised they have hung at .500 ball.

Had to call you out on that one for my first post!

Also - they gave us the division lead today!

The Mets aren’t hanging at .500 ball. They’re 9-26 in May, and they only sit at .500 because they had that freakish 12-2 start.  Since then, they’ve gone 15-24. They have a tire fire for a bullpen, for sure, but even if they fix the bullpen, they’ve got a ton of issues.

This ride ain’t over, but it won’t be the Mets that we have to fight off.

I think it is safe to say that the Braves have rebounded and are now the class of the division. Now, we are the ones chasing them and hoping for a WC.

I don't know...the Mets' lineup is practically a mirror image of ours, and they've got pretty good starting pitching.
