kid should fail because the whole Ballghazi conspiracy is explained by the ideal gas law.

Kid should fail and not be humored because his approach violates the scientific method.  He admits he went in with a bias and he failed in deductive reasoning.

He's 10...it doesn't take a PhD to know Brady cheated...  :D

Here's a kid in Lexington, KY, home of the Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari   ...   He doesn't need to go to NE to look for cheatin'.

they never have won a super bowl by more than one score.

First time for everything.

The Rams' offense looked pretty weak for most of that NFC title game.  I wouldn't be shocked if the Pats finally pulled off a two-score win.

The Saints didn't exactly overrun the Rams defense - Brady will have his hands full

Pro Bowl today. Crosby wins the NHL All Star Game MVP. Can’t get much better than that.

Agree. Luckily the weather is better and lots to do outdoors.

On paper the Rams have a great defense but have not performed that way all year. They have potential to do well. And Aaron Donald is a beast.

To me they don’t really get going until mid August- to me a pennant race is something close as the season winds down

You just don't like it because it doesn't have a pre-game show...  :mg:

Watching all of this nonsensical Media Night I normally think is ridiculous, because I know this run is coming to an end and soon we’ll be like all the othe schlub teams out there- I’m going to enjoy every single second of this week, win or lose on Sunday.

I sort of hate to do this again, but, it is somewhat amazing that this just happened in Roger Goodell's NFL:

Quote
Grievance of the week

You mean besides Roger Goodell, and his inability to be forthright and authentic about anything that matters; his phony, practiced, corporate Ken Doll I-lift-bro image; his pathetic, transparent habit of planting a Play 60 kid to ask a press conference question when the real ones start to cause sweat on his very serious brow; his duplicitousness, his dishonesty (I’ll believe he’ll talk to real saints before I believe he talked to the Saints); his pandering, and his chronic prominent presence in the lives of fans who just want to enjoy the game? Besides that?

Hmmm. Well, there’s this curious detail: John Parry, who is the head official Sunday, has a rather interesting track record when it comes to both teams. The Rams are 7-0 in games he has officiated, with two of the wins coming this year. And the Patriots? They are a mere 9-5 in games officiated by Parry through the years, including the loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.

Parry was the lead zebra this season during the 17-10 loss to the Steelers in Week 15 when the Patriots were called for a season-high 14 penalties.

I’m not a big conspiracy guy and really do not like yowling about the officials. But that is a peculiar track record. And not much seems a coincidence in Goodell’s NFL, especially if it looks shady.

I/M/O, if this crew goes nuts with the holding calls like what happened in the Mustard Palace, then the Pats are in for a rough time.  Donald / Suh etc... don't need much help to generate negative plays.  Get flag happy on the O-line, and the Pats will not be able to generate sustained drives, and they really aren't a quick strike offense (absent busted coverages).

So the pats need the refs to overlook penalties to win, but the anti-pat bias may result in holding calls when holding occurs?

I  just want the calls to be fair and consistent with how the holding is normally called.  When this guy is at an extreme end (14 penalties is extreme), especially on the O-line, then I think it is OK to note it before the game instead of seeming to whine after the game.  Look, I said before the AFC championship that it was a bad crew (actually, it was Chad Finn again), and guess what?  They called a horrific game - not just one bad call.  Tell me Goodell sets this stuff up on the level . . .
