  really?

Cardale Jones said this, apparently it was kind of a joke or something - it's funny because I believe he came back to school for an extra year and ended up graduating and was proud of it.

Until he kills your kid, ala Durkin.

i am curious to see the video of the practice that day - if durkin is on the field, for example. he'll be fired and the sooner the do it the better.

To be fair, the kid did end up graduating

OK, I remember him saying that. But all those guys usually graduate and are dumb as freak.

Like Brady throwing away his phone because he needed a new one.
I lost my phone in the Pacific Ocean a couple weeks ago. And I didn’t even throw it.

it helps when you have smart students and assistants whose job is to keep you eligible. Throw in a sympathetic faculty and you'd have to be truly stupid to not make it out with a degree, assuming you wanted one

Austin Peay hanging with UGA so far (albeit there's 10 min left in the 1st quarter).

A friend of mine who went to Austin Peay predicted the upset of the century today.  He usually predicts AP to lose by several touchdowns.

 :phew:

My bro lives in Austin (he's also a Terp), I suggested he needs to put the Terp flags on the Maserati and do burnouts all over town.    :lmao:

I got home around 4:30 and the indication was there was a delay with MD ahead.    What happened?

I've had this feeling the whole game that Texas is superior by a wide margins (especially in the lines), but the Terps have resorted to trickery and a few timely breaks to cling to the lead.

I didn't get to see but the last 2 minutes.    Considering the stuff (mostly self inflicked) the program has been through recently, this is a huge win.

Auburn came out looking dominant but Washington has survived and is now well in this game.

Neighbor and I were in WV (someplace way out) and it rained like hell.    Comin' east on 66 it looked sunny to the east.    I was surprised to see the delay notification.    I thought they had an outage or some such thing.

Appreciate the info.

I probably asked this before but don't recall if anyone answered. I don't recall seeing football games delayed for weather back in the days (late 70's and through the 80's). Is it just me or is this a new phenomenon?

I remember the College All Star game being delayed/canceled for lightning against the Steelers in the mid-70s.
