Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but Tony Renda made a single appearance for the Red Sox this year and received a WS ring for it.

Renda was the second-round pick in 2012, behind Lucas Giolito.

Seems like a risky move, $19 million for two years for a catcher with health issues?  I figured he'd end up with an AL team that could use him as a DH.
