Not JW's finest moment. Wonder who else was in the car with him?

Between the criminal speeding and now this, dumbass shouldn't be allowed to drive anymore.  He made enough money throughout his career anyway.  Just hire a personal driver if you're that much of a freak-up.

Kintzler, Kelley, Madson, Gonzalez, Murphy and if you count players from previous years, Treinen and Desmond.

AJ Cole with NYY, just from this year.  Edwin Jackson as well - was in AAA as recently as this season.  If you want to go back a few years, Sandy Leon, Brad Peac0ck, Ollie Perez, Kurt Suzuki gives you possibly someone on every team's playoff roster.  And Yusmeiro Petit is still out there chucking junk in the Oakland bullpen, as if they didn't have enough former Nats.

Storen hoping to make comeback after missing 2018

Oct. 17: More than a year removed from undergoing Tommy John surgery, reliever Drew Storen is hoping to make a comeback in 2019, MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported via Twitter on Wednesday.

The right-hander underwent the procedure Sept. 26, 2017, and missed the entire '18 campaign while recovering. Per Heyman, the 31-year-old free agent is throwing his full arsenal of pitches and is ready to showcase himself to Major League clubs.

Storen posted a 4.45 ERA over 54 2/3 innings with the Reds in '17, but he owns a lifetime 3.45 ERA with 99 saves in eight big league seasons.

I would offer him a minor league contract with an invite and opt out.  He may be the type of guy who could handle the middle relief role most nights.  If his stuff is OK, that's a guy I could see trying in low leverage for a while. I'll never let him close, but he could do the whole opener routine with Ross or Rodriguez behind him.

Alex Meyer DFA'd by the Angels. Apparently had a recent setback after shoulder surgery last year.

That Denard Span trade was an absolute steal for us, though at the time it seemed like a massive overpay.  I feel bad for Meyer.  We saw him pitch at Potomac and he looked like an absolute stud.
