I hope we can pick him up soon before all the other teams swoop in.

Over the past two seasons, the switch-hitting Espinosa has struggled to a dismal .197/.286/.344 slash with 283 strikeouts in 896 plate appearances...

Danny Espinosa, who was released today to make room for Walker, leaves the fight. Espinosa, so far this spring, barely batted for 160.

When you can't make it to the third week of March, and you get cut for Neil Walker, you maybe ought to consider that suggestion to give up switch-hitting.

Are you implying Neil Walker sucks? Neil Walker does not suck. He'll be starting at 2B for NYY. Everything else is lip service.

depends entirely on how walker and drury are going. both are legit players. anytime after his super-2 deadline is fair game with injuries and such. there's a non-zero chance bird spends time on the DL (probably likely), so you'll see Drury or Walker slide there and Wade or andujar take over (depending on the player). the yankees have 3 top 100 prospects (with torres as a top-10) ready to fill in at 2B or 3B. pretty wild. so much depth.

Danny Espinsoa to the Blue Jays on a minor league deal with a ST invite.
Looks like he’s trying to challenge EJax for most teams in a career.

Truth is, he left the NYY because he needed the freedom to grow his facial hair.
