That's where he is headed. He will be up in the big leagues soon as a key cog in the stretch run.  :hysterical:

Think we'll see him in DC this weekend?  ;)

In a battle of former Nats it’s A’s (Jackson) at Tigers (Zimmermann) on the anniversary of Edwin Jackson’s no hitter in 2010 where he had 8 walks and on HBP and threw 149 pitches.

The Reds, after starting 3-13 under Bryan Price, have gone 31-31 with Jim Riggleman as skipper.

On talk radio here they were debating whether or not to sign him now longer term. I don't see what the rush is. If he wants the job he can compete for it at the end of the year.

They're in a very good stretch now but they will revert to a bad team. Not the managers fault.

I was in the waiting room of my vet today and there was a dog named Storen. I had to bite my tongue to avoid asking his owner what he had choked on.

We handled that really poorly - never gave him a chance even though it was obvious from his first start that he didn't have much upside as a SP.

Surprise surprise - when you go from throwing 92 MPH FBs and 83 MPH sliders to 95 MPH fastballs and 86 MPH sliders, and stop throwing your worst pitches so much and start throwing your best pitches a lot more, your stats improve.

I have a source close to him.  The kid was really resistant his entire career to bullpen work. I think getting released smartened him about how this was the only way he was making it in the majors.

Yeah, everything around him in his time here said he didn't want bullpen duty. Baseball can humble a guy though, so good for him for figuring it out.
