AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD has a 3:30 pm free showing of
Wings (1927) the first ever Oscar Best Picture, a silent film regarding World War I pilots. It will be accompanied by live music (probably an organist.) You have to get tickets but it is free.
The AFI Silver normally charges $20 for silent features with live music, but it's free for Veteran's Day. (The AFI serves beer & wine.) See:
