ohhh, the poor punkin'! How sweet! She's so cute! My kids were scared of McGruff the Crime Dog when they were little like that.

Oh, poor kid! I can see where they could be intimidating, being so tall. I've seen kids who were scared by Screech, too.

she was fine running between the bases, but as soon as she got close to a base with the Prezzes there, she started white-knuckling my hand and looking around nervously.

Looking at that first pic and seeing SSB behind the group w/ only his hat and barely his eyes showing reminds me of that neighbor on Home Improvement, whose character name also escapes me. But the actor himself recently died, Tom Poston. Almost forgot that last name, too. Man, I'm having a hard time w/ names and this is super unusual. But anyway, I thought that was funny.

Edit to above post. The character name was Wilson and the actor was Earl Hindman, not Tom Poston. I got confused there. But Hindman died in 2003.

But you were correct, Tom Poston recently died as well. I think he wore a similar hat when he played George, the neighbor on the Newhart show.

Yeah, I think that's why I got them confused. When I stopped and thought about the voices, I recalled that Tom Poston's was along the same pitch, but maybe a shade higher. I was bummed when I heard that he died a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed him and even remembered him from Mork & Mindy!

Yeah, I thought Wilson as soon as I saw it. He probably doesn't want Zimmey stalking him.

I tell you, I just keep going back to that first pic and looking at it. It really just makes me happy. What a neat group you all are!!

Edit: I just figured it out. It's a family pic of sorts. We joke, discuss, tease, bicker, have misunderstandings and sometimes flat out get mad. What a great group!

Spidernat - I don't think us meeting up with each other will change anything. I actually think it just confirmed what I already thought: we have a nice, sincere, funny and kind group of people assembled. There was good will abounding, you could feel it. Just very nice folks.

I USED TO BE MORE PHOTOGENIC BEFORE I RETIRED AND STARTED GETTING ALL THIS LITTLE MEDICAL ISSUES AND HAD A FEW MORE POUNDS ON ME. JUST LIKE WE DONT LIKE OUR VOICES WHEN WE HERE A RECORDING OF OUR VOICES. I DONT LIKE THE WAY I LOOK IN PICTURES NOW.

Yeah, but not a more "recent" one. That's the point of ref. I was referring to. You were cute as a button as a youngster! Now, how 'bout one as a young adult or somewhere say a few years prior to retirement. I think you look great!

Hey Spider - guess what? I am very shy and don't like meeting new people because I don't know what to say, but everyone was so nice and friendly that I didn't have to worry about it. It was easy to talk to people because we all have one thing in common - we love the Nats! I'm so glad I got to meet you.
