pretty sure the answer is "yes." So, if we sent $8MM along with wieters, we'd be on the hook for lux tax purposes for $8MM. I'd appreciate a fact check from Corey or Blue911 (or anyone who really knows), but this often comes up in Red Sox deals in the past.
