Kind of hard to believe he's getting another chance.
minor league deal with a spring training invite. No roster spot guaranteed. This is a fine move. They need a righty back up outfielder if they go with Goodwin as a backup and Robles in AAA. I'm hoping he's healthy enough to try to play a little second base as well. It's been years since he's done it, but if he can play 2d and LF and hit righty, that gives us some options to rest Eaton and Murphy vs. lefties
when they are hung over.
