Strass is too Class for that.   Acting like that after a pop up  that should have been caught is one of the most bush league things I've ever seen.  Yell, celebrate, sure, but don't scream that into the opponent's dugout.  Act like you've been there before.

Wait, so Rizzo yelled that into our dugout after his bloop RBI in Game 3?  I missed that.

Yeah. He was pissed that they pitched to him, or something.

Not into the dugout. This place is full of freaking pansies. I don't understand why people find that offensive. Who gives a freak what he was saying. Win the freaking games because that's all that counts.

It wasn't offensive. It was just dumb. And since we are not on the team and not playing in these games, we can focus on more than one thing at a time and talk about things other than "winning the game".

I like spider's 'tude on a lot of things but I agree with this...  there are probably some folks on Cubs forums who feel the same way about Kendrick's fake-out last night.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that it's dumb. Feeling disrespected because they walked the player in front of you is stupid. It just doesn't make me hate him or call him names over it. You know that if a player on the Nats did the same thing after the exact scenario he would be hailed as a beast by some of the same people who hated it from Rizzo.

Is this guy clueless? His ERA for the series is 19.29 and the one clean inning he had two balls were hit hard. He might just be the series MVP. For the Nats. We can only hope they use him again tonight but I don't think Maddon is that dumb.

Fans give their own players a pass when they do stuff like this and then jump all over the opposition. I would love to have Rizzo on my team. He is a competitor.

I thought that as well with an 8 PM start.    Wonder how that works?     What does the 100K guarantee?     Does 2 hours require 200K or do they play it by ear?

If they're not guaranteeing it will be open until 30 minutes after the game ends, they'd be better off not doing it at all.

Me too.

I understood the in-game excitement. It was the interview after the game where he was declaring that they shouldn't be disrespecting him... You just won the game for your team, guy. If you'd been walked, you would have lost. Have a good laugh about it.
