My guess, since almost everyone on this team, including Dusty, are slow learners, is that the line up stays with the same pathetic duffers, hoping that some miracle will take place...like suddenly these clowns are able to discern balls from strikes....not likely after what we've seen in the play offs and in so many of the final games of the season...the lower and more outside the pitch, the more likely they will dive for it, hoping to be the hero. Our pitchers cannot bunt effectively, hit-and-run as an option has been used maybe  3 times during the entire season (so why start now?) and while Dusty and other managers are reluctant to sacrifice just to move runners along (assuming there will be any!), a strike out moves no one anywhere except back to the dugout, staring at the scoreboard (why do whiffers do that after striking out? Are they hoping that their futile efforts will be reviewed and then overturned?)...as so many DC sports teams have done in the past, I expect the usual choking, while many of these overpaid underachievers will tell the Post tomorrow that the Nats are really the best team.....and that none of their tepidly hit balls landed in a lucky spot  (all two of them???)  yadda yadda yadda...
