Actually, Rizzo went on a long tirade about how disrespected he felt that they pitched to him with a base open, like it was a personal affront to him. Sort of a "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" moment.
No doubt, Dusty's 'disdain' for Rizzo's bloop single really matters...what, are the umps going to take that hit back? Or might Dusty consider putting someone in the outfield who can actually catch? Werth could not outrun a ground sloth....Trea Turner just got in the way, trying to be a hero to make up for his lousy ABs...and I'm sure that Rizzo now feels oh-so-guilty that he didn't really connect on the pitch....hey Dusty, how about you rid the line up of the duffers and chokers and put in some bench players who actually want to win?
