Taylor SAVES the game.  Dusty Baker should quit.

I'm still blaming the offense more than Dusty. And his moves are befuddling.

Nice play by Michael A. And what terrible baserunning.

Hell, I'll bet Solis was ready to throw up on command. ;) (But I didn't know that.)

No, a full batter:

" (3.05(a)) The pitcher named in the batting order handed the
umpire-in-chief, as provided in Rules 4.02(a) and 4.02(b)
(Rules 4.01(a) and 4.01(b)), shall pitch to the first batter or any
substitute batter until such batter is put out or reaches first base,
unless the pitcher sustains injury or illness which, in the judgment
of the umpire-in-chief, incapacitates him from pitching."

As usual, Nats bats are wimpy....Turner needs to sit, go watch a power point instructional video on what is and isn't a strike....reminds me of Desmond...
so many duffers no one chokes up, everyone swings for the moon....small ball not in their lexicon  and Solis needs a bus ticket to Nowhereville

Great fielder but seems to have no clue at the other parts of the game.

The fact that Cubs have 4 errors and we have 1 pathetic run is ridiculous.

This is the inning. You've got to open it up and let the bats fly. Have to have a big inning.

And you wonder why a manager whos had a historic playing career and has managed a team to the playoffs 9 or 10 times is sitting there available AND desperate enough to take a two year cheapo contract.

Im sure hes the greatest guy in the world, but no one wants him. None of the other 29 teams. Isnt that odd?

Now we see why they didn't trust Kintzler

Honestly, I blame Rizzo for this debacle

How is Solis even an option at that point?  Nice bullpen construction.  Yeah, I understand that he went out and got Madson and Doolittle, but what the freak was he doing all offseason?

I don't think Turner can even see the ball.
