Seems simple math to me. You win game one and you only have to win 2 of 4. Lose and you need to win 3. The best teams don't play .750 ball in the regular season.

People defending the manager in the postseason are like the Rock the Red Caps fans who still defend the captain in the postseason.

How you pitch to Rizzo, then walk Contreras, is beyond terrible. Thankfully Madson got the guy who was 3-5 against him going into that at bat to keep it to 1 run scored.

Werth, Harper, Wieters are 3 massive holes. You can't put in guys who need 100 ABs to get back up to speed is the 100 ABs are in the playoffs... And Wieters just sucks.

He threw like 6 hittable 2-strike pitches to Rizzo there. Dude was like "Throw one in the dirt"... and Turner who was supposed to be a difference maker in this series has been a disaster.

I don't disagree, but I still think Dusty is the worst of the bunch we've had. Players like him because he's a senile grampa who doesn't award jobs to better players when they suck ass, not because he's good.
