I like catfish, but I've never fixed it.  The beef tonight was exquisite along with some garlic and rosemary potatoes.

They were too thick for pan frying with less than a LOT of oil.  Guess I tried to do it on the cheap.

I was using my cast iron which is perfect for the task.  Used peanut oil, which has such a nice clean unobtrusive taste.  Basted in olive oil, heavy sprinkle of the Penzey's jerk seasoning and then lightly cornmeal breaded.  My filet half (1 filet was more than 1.2 lbs) was very thick and not as cooked as I would have liked.  My wife's was great.

He’s a ball player.   Basically Kevin Fransden with talent.

No curtain call?

I wish we were opening against the cubs tomorrow.  This is the best I’ve seen this team play this year.

Is everyone still convinced that Sherzer should be the game 1 starter?  Max seems only about 90% Max since coming back from the neck thing, while Stras is as good as he's ever looked and is going deep into games with ease.  Without question, Strasburg has been the better pitcher for the last 6 weeks.

No FP, you can do it by walking and picking them off one at a time.

What's the logical argument for Max being the better pitcher right now.  I know there's the reputation factor of Max being workhorse beast and Strasburg being the flower.  But Max has shown nothing to say he is in that mode and can go deep into games for the last couple months.  Stras is looking very "ace" like for a while.

Gut feeling and trust factor.

Harper looks lost.  He’s not going to get 100abs before the nlds.
