One of the other funny things is that quiet kneeling is somehow disrespectful but quiet standing is ok. It seems very North Korea ish to me (“show me your patriotism. And only one way is acceptable”)

People don't stand up for the anthem when watching from their living room because no one is watching so they don't need to show off their patriotism. And those that do are complete morons.
