Good recall   ....  forgot about how he touts Madison.  Of course, I meant the whole dig to what has become known as the "frozen tundra" of the midwest.    You know, like Chicago and Minneapolis in the day.

BTW, it's good to see you can keep your avi.    :)

After I left Ann Arbor I moved to Madison, WI where I was on Faculty at UW for 5 years before moving to DC. I also have a degree from Duke and lived for a while in a Charleston, SC if you guys want my origin story.   ;). I like a bunch of teams people like to hate apparently.

As far as the game today, I was never a Bucks fan. A friend from Wisconsin bought tickets to the game and didn’t realize until yesterday that he bought them for DC and not Milwaukee. He offered them to me and I took them.
I wore red and cheered the Wiz. The most impressive thing I noticed was how FAST John Wall is in person. It’s pretty incredible.

Kendrick barely had a cup of coffee with the Phillies. He was injured most of the time.

Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste bluestreak, that's some Curriculum Vitae.     I've disliked the Bucks since they beat the Bullets in 1971.   :old:

I got a story about something like that.    :P     Guy I knew played for an NBA team in the 70s.    Another guy I worked with was a stat man for the Bullets.    I told the stats guy when he ran into the NBA player, tell him "mitlen" sez he taught him everything he knows from the 3rd and 4th grade league.    They each had a good laugh.    BTW   I always disliked Cincinnati too (NCAA ...  Hogue, Thacker, Bonham, etc.).

Everyone knows fourth grade is the key. To the NBA. And Math.

Looks like a typical Huggins team tonight. Rough defensively AND offensively. Want to get to a Concinnati or Xavier game this year but tickets are durn expensive.

I was lookin' at the roster.    He recruits from every where.

JW throwin' Otto under the bus?

“You try to do a good job just getting him as many shots as we can, but it’s kind of hard because he’s out there and then he’s coming out very early, then he’s playing with the second unit a lot. We just got to do a better job of getting Otto the ball,” Wall said, before he quickly shifted his eyes over the crowd of microphones and added in an even tone: “But he also has to do a better job of just being aggressive himself when he get it.”

The closed-door challenges have now become postgame confessions as Washington Coach Scott Brooks and Wall shared harsh truths about Porter’s waning aggressiveness inside Capital One Arena.

Wonder how Brooks feels about his rotation and offensive acumen?

This game is so bad  ...  I tried to remember the Charlotte center who owned us a few years ago.    With this game as background noise, I googled it    .....   Al Jefferson.

why so glum? Surely two of the big three is enough, you act like Porter isn't really that good

I know it's  :blah: :blah: :blah: but Kimes on Around the Horn said Griffin to the Pistons, Wall bein' out and the tough 2nd half schedule for the Wiz  ....   we could be out of the playoffs.       :panic:

OT   I'm thankful for the Wizards tonight.     :couch:    And that is bipartisan.    :)

She's been picking against the Eagles also. Hope that continues this week. She seems to be wrong most of the time.

It must be the theme of the day (latest shiny object/talkin' points, etc.) on ESPN.    PTI is talkin' the same crap about the Wiz.

OT   I gotta google Ms. Kimes:        :-[

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mina_Kimes

...  and it made me wonder:
