Yes but just like Sanchez he was in the act of bunting.

After suffering Matt Williams Dusty just seems such a breath of fresh air.  He really does a great job of finding playing time for bench players and keeping guys engaged and interested in performing.  I don't think he's great at pitching staff management but he's far from the worst, and Maddux probably has a lot of influence too.  I like the 6 man rotation going into the playoffs too.

I would call that 0-1 on Kendrick personally but I guess I'll take it.

Though, there was an argument he pulled it back before being hit.  But I agree with FP, should have been a strike / dead ball.

He positioned himself to bunt, right side of his chest over the plate, then (maybe) started moving the bat back.

I don't think you should get a base if you get hit while your body is in the strike zone.

Zimmerman supports this idea, Anthony Rizzo not so much.

No c & d think they ultimately got it right but incredulous call up ump didn't call anything initially

No fiddle mistakes.   I called it and it's gotta happen during the next homestand.

Seriously though. Did he kill your dog?

It's been rumored that Baker once refused to stand up for the national anthem.
