I really need to learn how to sync up C & D

It takes me a minute but what a relief.    I have noticed though that C & D roam on occasion as well.

I'm even more concerned about Murphy. Zimmerman can get right again as soon as testing ceases for the season. Murphy does not seem right. Didn't he hurt his hip earlier in the season?

I don't recall anything, but that certainly doesn't mean it didn't happen.

God, did FP really just say that its rough on an offense when the other team announces its a bullpen day

Explains Davies and Nelson in Games 1 and 2.

beeping

(Image removed from quote.)

Boss gave our group one of those.    We put a rubber band through the belt clip and thumb tacked the rubber band to a cork board.    We told him, "If you gotta beep us to find us, you should fire us."    He knew better than to ask us to take one home.

At this point it doesn't look like it would matter if Jackson had only yielded 2 runs instead of 5.

I naged up today on going the pool knowing the water would be cold as hell but tomorrow is the last day so if I'm not too hungover I'm going to go and get one final swim in.

That's the missus and my plan tomorrow.    We were chattin' about how cold the water's gonna be after all the rain.

My last swim was on Thursday and it was cold that day so I can only imagine what it will be like tomorrow.

I find swimming to be one of the best cures for a hangover besides getting drunk again.

Quite true. I do it several times each summer. But there was one day earlier this summer where the hot was so strong and the water so warm that I couldn't take it any longer and left.

I remember one day a few years ago in late May when the water was still cold, I was getting out of the pool after a swim and the young girl who as working as a lifeguard walked by at that precise time and asked, "water's cold, huh?"  :-[

That's a softball pitch for a guy.    Lots of comebacks for that which would make her wanna crawl in a hole.

You toss 'em, I hit 'em.    Over the years though, I've gotten better at just shuttin' up and movin' on.
