Straw would have gotten icy hot on a fingernail and needed a trip to the DL

I'm watching SNY, Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez. Unlike the typical FP-ism, Hernandez just discussed the benefits of using a white ash bat...then explained how hitters used to scrape out the space between the grains of wood which was legal, but some batters filled it with rosin to give the bat more bounce.  Illegal.

FP tortures the ears and brain.

Watching FS1  broadcast, taking about Nats are making plans for playoffs with Bryce not back.  Moving Werth to RF and Kendrick to LF.   Seems like a likely and losing scenario.

I think during that time, FP was describing that the difference  between a black bear and a grizzly bear is a shoulder hump? I totally tuned him out.

That might be slightly better.  Still doesn't sound like a winning proposition.  Reportedly Werth wasn't enthusiastic about moving back to right.   Either way, a neutral broadcast team making it sound like Bryce is unlikely, as expected.

Like the way he was working so quickly.  Seems confident and keeps the defense alert and ready.   Exactly the opposite of Cole.
