No mention by Bob & FP or by the Astros broadcasters. Maybe the stadium is so empty that any random screeches get to the on-field microphones?
Probably Murphy!

What's the howling about at this stadium?  Sounds like some random guys doing Murphy's "Woo!"   I've noticed it in both games so far.  Has it been brought up?

There's a whistler at astros games (FP and Bob covered it the other day).

I wish managers would know it never works out when you've got a guy well into his career who finds a niche he excels at, and try to see if that will carry over to being a good every day player.  You know he's going to suck as a pinch hitter now too.

Rendon looks lost also. Slumps. They come. They go.

no question. Stevenson freaked him on that first run. And no matter what measure you want to use, 2 runs in 6 innings is a quality start (and especially when facing an AL lineup).

Sort of a ho hum game. Well, short of Stevenson's misadventure that is.

Fiers has struggled the last month...He is 0-4 7.36 in his last 5 outings.

crap...we're doomed. These are the pitchers that always seem to dominate the Nats.

He was  :$$$: off the bench. As a starter he's more like loose change

Did any of you notice that Fox is carrying 2 preseason games on Sunday and then nBC is carrying a night game, just like a regular season Sunday? I don't recall ever seeing that in the past.
