Neck spasms. Other side this time. He's on the DL.

Is this true?

Just got home and turned the game on. What happened to Max?

Nothing serious...just a blister on his neck...on the 10 day DL...

This is where Myers goes deep to pull the rug out from under us....

Andrew Stevenson runs hard to catch Meyer's hit ball, to end the inning...

I was in San Diego one week for business where it rained all week and was in the sixties. They said it happens once a year.

Totally OT but - interesting article in today's early edition WAPO A3; "Scince chases the reason why whiskey diluted with water may taste better"
Any thoughts? I may have to do some serious taste tests tonight  :glug:

I bet if Werth was on the active roster we would've seen Jude in attendance.

I don't know if it's Rizzo, Baker, or dumb luck, but man, when we plug someone in for someone, they're contributing well either in the field or at the plate.

I guess the most likely thing is that it's the payoff of having legitimate A starters at every position and guys developing by doing everything they can in minors to get a shot.  There was a time when we brought up guys before they were ready because we needed to field a team.

I was in the tower at SeaTac. Had a beautiful view of the mountains on both sides. The guy giving me the tour told me you could see the mountains like that two or three days a year. That had developed some coded numbering system on the runways because they could never see the planes.

Ouch. It was actually in the nineties. The decade that is.

This is absolutely true. For the past ten years I put 5 drops of water in every glass of neat single malt scotch I drink.

Helps that Grace is pitching against the weakest hitting team in MLB. But still a great performance.
