I always wonder where I'd fit in speed wise with mlbers. I feel like I've got to be able to beat guys like panda or Morse in a race.  I'm not thinking Murphy is in my sights too.

That never crosses my mind.    :old:

Ump got in the way

Dee hurt his wrist hitting the ump's foot.

And I think he was safe, but I give the ump credit for at least trying to see the call well.

Yeah, that wuz me. I wuz looking for that picture of him in the dugout with the Fro going. He had the day off and didn't put any product in his hair. Looked like Kapernick.

From worst bullpen in the majors to the best bullpen in the majors.  Okay, don't bust my bubble I'm drinking wine here.

I've said it before but the lack of anxiety I feel watching this bullpen pitch gives me anxiety.  Still not used to this.  It's like going from your 1985 Corolla to a brand new Lamborghini.

... but without having the car payment.  Just enjoy for now, your Lamborghini will likely break down in October.

I'm sure I'm jinxing him and someone is due to catch one of his fastballs out of the park, but I think Madson is the best reliever the modern Nationals have ever had.

Quite possibly.  The only guy whose stuff was definitively better was probably Henry Rodriguez but command was a slight problem for him.

I don't remember any reliever we've had with this combination of gas and location.   Plus decent off speed.    I'm still not sold on Doolittle, but Rizzo's deadline deals are looking a lot better than he got credit for.
