If we lose this game it's going to be like a knife to the gut.

ugh.. Batista.  Why in the **** do we swing at his changeup in the dirt so much?? It either results in a weak hit ground ball or pop up or a swing and miss.

We have too many guys looking for long hits with runners in scoring position instead of looking for rbi singles.

Flies out.  James is at 87 pitches, Chico at 66.  We own Chuckie now.

Nationals 2
Braves 3

Well from my experince, the two most pitchers that gave me the most trouble as hitter(first things first, i wasn't a good hitter) were changeups and sinkers. Anything that dives down on you a the last moment is tricky and you start second guessing yourself to swing. Just from my experince.

Guess what?  This team doesn't hit very well so it should take advantage  of every opportunity it gets because you can't expect to get many more!

jigga man is right. Its only the sixth and while the Nats over the season have shown they don't hit well, they've hit well over the last stretch of games, and have shown that they can hit James, and the Braves bullpen isn't soethin to marvel about. We can still win this game

Well, Chico wasn't spectacular by any means today but he was solid and certainly much better than he was at the start of the season. It's up to the offense and pen now..

Somebody must have told him that Frank is no longer the manager, and that Manny (a Mets coach in 2006), knows that he'll swing at anything.  Oh well.  No runs scored.  Chico 87 pitches, 6 innings.  OK.
TIME TO DIE CHUCKIE!

Wow, what a hit by Flores!! I'd kill my self if I was Chuck.  0-2 count and he gives up a double. ..
