They were saying that strasburg went to the clubhouse between first and second inning.  Hopefully he's just sick

Kershaw left after 2 scoreless innings against the Braves today.  Maybe Stephen's been reading too many of the comparisons on this board...

HalfSmokes thinks Strasburg will have a better career than Kershaw if he pitches more seasons.

Hypothetically, would you sacrifice Stras at the alter of TJ if it meant Kershaw was done in 2017 too?

I think I probably wouldn't.

Gonna need every bit of this 5 run buffer for this bullpen.  Also time to hop in the Darvish sweepstakes.

Zimmerman's hit changed to an E6.  Think they still got it wrong.  Looked like Goldschmidt straight up missed that ball.

You bounce that ball and they score it an error on who ever is throwing it every time.

What?? No, why would anyone give up one of our players just to ensure another player gets hurt? That's nonsense.

Forgive my ignorance - but are the official scorers "homers" (in that they always score for that team) and are effectively at liberty to "massage" stuff like that?

If so. :hysterical: MLB.

yes, that plus players have been known to talk to them after games to dispute certain calls so they can have a bias

It was more to do with if we get to the NLCS - we're probably gonna have to play the Dodgers. In that scenario if Stras HAD to have TJ again, and Kershaw was out as well, with whatever injury, then clearly we'd be at an advantage. However, both teams would be without the players the rest of the season (and beyond if it IS TJ) and it would make getting over the NLDS hump even harder and it's not like we've had much success there either.

In general, of course I agree with you. I don't want to see anyone injured.
