Not that it wouldn't be nice for her to enjoy a Nats' game in Cincy but that's a pretty cool "bachelor" trip. I was thinkin' about a road trip to Cincy next year. I'd add Louisville as a side trip. Visit some cousins in Cincy and then Lexington on the way home. What did ya drive at Indy?

As a kid, Mom and Pop took us to visit relatives in Nashville, On the way, we stayed with my Mom's uncle in Covington. I remember stoppin in Cincy for gas. Two things amazed me 1) they had southern accents and 2) they used corn cobs dipped in water to clean the windshield.

Visited family in Soddy-Daisy Tennessee in 1964, and they had newspaper from the 1800's as wallpaper.
