Morning. Been NANFing around Dorset for the last week. I expect not to last the first inning tonight! A good GDT is required therefore to keep me amused when I wake up later.

Mlb.tv has only the Fox coverage. Maybe the bias of Bob won't be an issue tonight...

Steve, you're basically playing until Trea comes back, there is no need to attempt to injure Two-bags!

Kolko needs to interview Anthony about the play.

Amateurs.

Murph does the obvious thing and backs up 1st but doesn't read the play. Drew completely switches
off and doesn't do anything at all.

Good throw by MAT though.

There was no need to backup 1B. Murphy likely saw the runner on 1B take a big turn and since Zimmerman had infield cutoff responsibility he went to cover 1B. I blame Murphy for that misplay. Good thing it didn't cost anything.

Noob alert... if we'd got the runner between 2nd and 3rd, like a normal team, the run would still have counted even though that was the 3rd out?

If the runner crossed the plate before the man was tagged out the run would have counted

Not a lot more I hate than a weak ass GIDP when you've got strikes left in the at bat.

I hate paying 12 million for a catcher who struggles to hit his weight more

Be nice if the best hitter(s) on the team could hit somewhere 2-4, like every other freaking team in baseball

You're getting a manager who would be trapped in checkmate against a turnip and you're going to like it, mister.
