Only three runs this time. Maybe he's improving?

I would hate to be the ground when Harper is running. He looks like he's pounding the dirt. Doesn't exactly run on his toes.

FP, stop complaining about a strike to Murph that was called a strike.  That the catcher didn't frame it fraudulently doesn't make it a ball.

That no more looks like Stan Musial than spider does.     Same sculptor that did ours at Nats' Park.

Look at the bright side: after today, no more Bob and FP until Monday.

Why didn't the runner go home to test Zimmerman's "arm"?

The Cardinals get strategy from Bob Carpenter, unfortunately not realizing he watches the Nats as closely as Ravens tight ends watch their kids.

screw all the excuses people make for Roark, this is inexcusable!  >:(
3rd   Molina singled to center, Pham and Piscotty scored, Gyorko to second.   0   2
3rd   Garcia singled to left center, Gyorko scored, DeJong to second.   0   3
4th   Murphy grounded into double play, shortstop to second to first, Harper scored, Zimmerman out at second.   1   3

              Washington Nationals    1
St. Louis Cardinals  3

Tanner Roark #57

Dwarf tossing is illegal in New York and Florida.
Pitchers   IP    H  R   ER   BB   SO   HR   Pitch Count-Strikes
T Roark   3.0   4   3     3       5       2       0        85-46 & Done

Ian Happ singles with two outs in the sixth inning breaking up Reds pitcher Scott Feldman's no hitter moments after Jon Jay reached on an error. It was the longest no hit stint of Feldman's career.

Turner is probably good for one trip through the order. It's going to be a long night.
