Why "attempt" 3D at all?    I hate to think MLB is considerin' that part of the game day experience.
Meh, feels like you're over thinking it a bit. Guessing the players or clubhouse thought it was cool, so they gave it a try. It seems to very much be a team to team deal.

I prefer a batting helmet with a sticker, slightly askew, and thoroughly gooped up with pine tar.

I want helmets with sharpened SPIKES.

Make base running an adventure.

Looked like Dusty said, "You threw me out?    I'll come out there and kick your ass."

Raburn fouled the ball into the dirt. Umpire called strike 3. Clear on slow-motion replay, but not in real-time. Raburn tipped it off the end of the bat, so he would have felt it.

I'm retired so my options are limited.

I had to rewind it.  Foul tip called strike 3.

Ross is a five-inning starter. He managed six. Seven is hoping for a miracle.

Don't get why a play that has a clear cut camera shot 99.99% of the time isn't reviewable.

It drives me insane.  I wish they'd do away with replay completely during the regular season.
