Suero was promoted from Double-A Harrisburg to Syracuse back on June 2. While with the Senators, the 25-year-old right-hander had a 1.96 ERA in 18 games and had ten saves in 11 chances. As a reliever, you have to throw strikes and Suero did that with 23 strikeouts to just five walks in those games.. . .Back in 2010, the Nats signed Suero as a minor league free agent out of the Dominican Republic. In each of the last two spring trainings, Suero has been in Major League camp as a non-roster invitee. . . .
