What a piece of garbage. What grown adult can’t accept a curfew
If the guy can’t fly right after getting kicked off his team in college, I am not sure if there is any hope for him. But apparently his stuff is tanatalizing. I imagine this is some infraction that would have maybe not been handled in the same way in a player without this guy’s history. He should be on a very short leash.
He's a lefty that throws mid 90s, as an above average slider, and can throw strikes. What he lacks is discipline. His weight has fluctuated in the past. He got booted off his team for multiple offenses. Now issues with curfew.
To me it actually sounds like they need to get him to a therapist who can maybe help him get to the root of the self-destructive behavior. You don't wanna get yourself blackballed from MLB over curfew violations.

He’s reported to be back in camp now.. Never mind, guy from Fox can’t tell the difference between Seth Romero and Enny Romero .
He’s not getting blackballed- teams keep around guys who get hit for peds, domestic violence, and anything else that doesn’t land them in prison. Unless his arm goes, he’ll find someone willing to give him a shot and if his arm goes, being a choir boy wouldn’t be enough for a team to keep him
any news on him?
"Romero remains at home in Houston and has not yet proven to the Nationals that he's ready to resume his minor-league career, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports."This was from May 1. Is this guy a lost cause at this point.
Dude is 22. Few 22 year-olds are the final version of themselves.
If he doesn’t report, don’t they control him indefinitely?
I read it as them prohibiting him from reporting until he shapes up. Are they allowed to blackball a guy permanently, or do they eventually lose his rights? I hope he likes K-pop, because Korea might be his best option.
For purposes of determining eligibility to be a free-agent, a player does not accrue a minor league season if the player spends the entire season on an MLB Active List, MLB Disabled List(s), and/or other MLB Inactive List, or if the player spends an entire season on the Restricted List, Disqualified List, Suspended List, Ineligible List, Voluntarily Retired List, and/or Military List.
