No, but I've done that in slow pitch softball before. In the playoffs last year, the catcher literally couldn't get the ball back to the pitcher so we started going on the first pitch every time. I even stole home when he lollipoped it back. One of their outfielders saw the whole thing developing as it happened but it was too late. I was halfway down the line by the time the ball was arching down back to the pitcher. We won the game because of that inning and he didn't catch the rest of the game. I kinda felt bad for the guy.

The A's actually have a kid whose job is to protect the bullpen guys warming up. At other parks that have the bullpen in foul territory it's usually one of the bullpen guys who does that job.

Glover's been pretty good but I can't get over how he looks like the guy who tries to upsell you on repairs your car doesn't need when taking the car to get the oil changed at Jiffy Lube when you're lazy.
