If he claims injury, he can continue being PAID.  His last game was his fight to save his job.  He's now lost it, and is just trying to keep a check coming for awhile.

What sucks is that the ball should've been caught and we had the "possibility" of getting a ground ball for a DP to get us out of the inning. Of course with JW on the mound the chances were slim.

Whatever was wrong with him was augmented by the fact that he had bases loaded and no one out with a 3 run deficit...he bailed on us.
