DOB : August 26, 1992, Lexington, KY  (24 years old)
Throws : Right
Bats : Right
School : University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY)
Acquired : Trade 2014 : San Diego Padres
Stock : Rising this was from 2014
Cool Notes : Born in Lexington, KY, went to high school in Lexington, KY, went to college in Lexington, KY

Acquired by the Nationals in December 2015 along with Michael Brady for Yunel Escobar.  Throws mid-upper 90's and had 47.2 IP for the Angels in 2015, holding opposing hitters to a .217 BA.  Projected ceiling was a setup or closer role.

Update through 5/11/17: 2 ER in his last 10.2 IP at Syracuse including a couple of 2 inning appearances

He got hammered in his first three outings of the year and has settled down since then. Given up a few too many hits. K's have ticked up the past few appearances. Only one HR in 12 appearances.

Could he be any worse than what the Nats have been trotting out there?

Pitched 53 innings therefore not ROY eligible.  We use the rookie of the year eligibility criteria for "prospect" status (like most publications). Changed the thread title
