Only a few WNFF deviants stay online while at a DC home sporting event - most at an event turn off their phone

Some of us deviants don't have a phone at any sporting event.     :)

Just a quick reminder of why the games are played and why predictions are not destiny: A month into the season, Ryan Zimmerman is leading the league in homers, batting average, and RBI, and has a slugging percentage over .900; Gio Gonzalez is leading the league in ERA.  I wonder what odds you could have gotten for that double in mid-March.

Yes, and we should all enjoy that until October.  But then poopy poo poo poop.  (Sorry, I lose my ability to articulate anything clearly when it comes to the Nats and October.)

A rocky 6 innings. Not enough strikes, and Phils seemed to hit those he threw. Some great fielding, though: MAT, Rendon, and Werth

Helluva lot better than the last spot starter they used in Philly on a Saturday night. Anytime you win when you throw your seventh or eighth starter out there is a good win.

So far, this team is very different than winning Nats teams in past years.  As 1 case in point, look at the offense last night, with Harper on the bench.  This team has pitching and hitting.  One can only hope there is a limit to injuries and the rollercoaster bullpen settles down.

Yes, and we should all enjoy that until October.

There's a reason that Cole isn't in the regular rotation. He's fine for a spot starter/place filler though.

You can see though. he has a nice curve now. that slider though still has no tilt really. stays on the same plane. so of you miss location it gets hammered. This start his fb command was non-existent. he is a reliever and its so obvious.
