I guess Manny's taking the adage: "if it aint broke, don't fix it".  If Bergie says he's ok to continue...why not?

This is a terrible decision by Manny.

agreed. Not only is it a bad move to have Berg bat to go for the CG, but we def need an extra insurance run. I could see if it was like 7-0 or something, but it's a 1 run game.

The only difference is...that the only pitcher we KNOW has been throwing well against the Braves is Bergmann...and like I said, if Bergmann says he's not tired...then let the kid do it.  It will do wonders for the bullpen and clubhouse morale.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm very, very nervous with Bergmann pitching the 9th.

Bergmann needs to be pulled after one mistake. Lets hope he's still got it and if he makes one it doesnt tie the game.

Wow...your'e a tough manager.  He's only allowed one hit in the whole game.

...which, of course, means that Bergmann will be starting tommorrow, too.

now it looks like a bad decision - Manny is out from the dugout - now you have to really question that move

I like it...I like that he gave him the opportunity to get the CG.  Once he allowed the leadoff runner, he pulled him.
