He meant 3 instead of 2.
No, he didn't.

No he meant 2 instead of 1 (getting swept).

Anyway, it's not guaranteed.  The series could be over in three games. Home field advantage guarantees 2 home games.

Anyway, the Caps' playoff failures have already chased VaRK back to the blackhawks. Maybe another collapse by the Nats will have him running back to his beloved cubbies. #littlevictories

Thus the hate for a certain CWS fan who has been known to throw the odd pitch at Nats Park

No way. He's actually Steve Bartman.

Mention Nellie Fox and he'll appear.

I remember when we clinched at home in 2012 and MASN aired the postgame celebration, it was ongoing for like...30+ minute I think? It was awesome. The franchise had come such a long way.

Now its a little expected for us of course, but to me winning a division in baseball is still kind of a big deal. Yes our division sucks and the race was basically over months ago, but still. Regular season dominance is still worth enjoying.

We're now only 5 games behind the Dodgers.

If we're within 3 heading into next weekend's series, I wonder if Dusty goes for the sweep to try to steal home field. Remember we already took 2/3 so we'd have the tiebreaker.

With the Marlins probably.selling off their parts and the Mets a dumpster fire. Looks like the Phillies with all their prospects or Atlanta if they get some starting pitching will be the contenders next year. Preface I am assuming that the reports about Confortos shoulder and the Mets are blowing sunshine up peoples skirts that he will be back in 6-8 months when i have heard medical people say he may be lucky to even be able to swing again.

I will always remember that nite with Mike Morse circling the outfield warning track slapping the hands of the fans. Very emotional. The celebration in the clubhouse .....eh!

Phillies desperately need a loss today as the Giants and White Sox are closing in for the worst record.

Rhys Hoskins is the real deal. Not so sure about the other young guys. They are still at least two years away from contending. They need starters. All their young pitchers look like 4/5 guys.

He is a 2/3 guy. He has had some great stretches this year and some bad ones. They will probably take a college pitcher next draft.
